A sneak peek for Robin and Mrs. Ginny

The current planter construction I'm working on is going very good so far, and details of it provide both suspense and anticipation for fellow bloggers Robin and Gingerbreadshouse7. :) As a matter of fact, I predict the final result to be something that will cause passersby to stop and admire for it's sheer beauty. Indeed, it will become the focal point of the entire property, and be dedicated to the only woman that I'll ever love. Even through the difficult months that recently passed - my heart will always be in her possession.
Anyway, here's a sneak peek at what I'm building.....

Robin - Patience will reveal all in the end. I'm not uttering another word. Lol

Gingerbreadshouse7 - thank you, and this part isn't even finished yet. :)

Kudos to you, that wheel-looking thingy is pretty dang cool. I'm with Ginny, whatever it is, I want one too! Tell us again how you don't consider yourself a woodworker? Pshaw.

That is really very sweet of you EG.

Never say never. I did and look at me now.

Alison - a wheel looking thingy...hmm....I guess it could be a wheel, or even a steering wheel for that matter. Seriously, I have no woodworking training whatsoever. No tools for it, either. I just get in the backyard and "do" things. I'm glad you have faith in me (some around here don't)

Japanese redneck - I'm afraid there's just no possibility for things to work out. I'm ok with it, but at least wanted to preserve what once was for years to come. :)

Glad to see you shaking off some of your grief and stepping upon the path to your new future.
You have many, many lurkers and occasional visitors who would be sad to see you give up and quit.

Welcome back.

Not to minimize your troubles.. but remember: Some paths are twisty and winding. Some even cross back upon themselves.
Take Care and God Bless.

Mrs. Martin - thank you so much for the encouraging words. Lurkers that decide to leave a comment have an unbelievable effect on me - just liking gaining a new friend. :)
I'm afraid that my journey is one that must be traveled alone.....

EG, I have a new appreciation of what a person can handle, and come back from. Not that it's the same as what you are going through, but the last 4 months have been up and down for my husband and I. He was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and not given much of a chance. He is better, believe it or not! Anyway, I never would have thought we had the strength to accomplish what we have. We are stronger than we think!! It seems you are coping and moving in a positive direction. I wish you good luck and continued progress.

Hmmmm . . . the top of a merry-go-round, part of a water-wheel, the wheel of a flower cart . . . the possibilities are nearly endless! Whatever it ends up being . . . so far, so good! Great job! We'll be anxiously awaiting it's completion!
