That is something I'm going to have to learn how to do - prune fruit trees. I've never done it before. I've figured out the bushes a while back, but I've never had a fruit tree before.
I enjoyed hearing you talk about pruning and found your thoughts very interesting. When you yelled for your dog to "go get it" our dog immediately ran into the room to see what was up.:)
First, I have to say again: I absolutely love Jude!!
Seeing your young grapes, blueberry, fruit trees makes me so think of the overgrown grape vines, fruit trees and blueberry bushes I have on my property. While you are pruning your young fruit trees, bushes and vines properly, mine have been left to overgrow for many years and I need to tame them back into shape. I can’t prune them too much, so it will still take several more years before they are in control. It is a challenge especially since I am still learning how to prune properly.
I hope you have a “fruitful” year! Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Cool, I hope ours don't suffer. Some are full of blooms and we had a light frost this am.
Great orchard video. Here's hoping your plum trees weren't premature! Jude is a cuttie!

You'll have to do another video when everything is in bloom!

Very informative video EG. I have never had fruit trees or grape vines.
