Very, very nice potatoes. Do you have any special way of storing them or do they get eaten up before that becomes an issue?

That's a good harvest for the 4 containers. I think that Jude is a great helper!

Lookin' good, EG! We got 11 pounds yesterday as well. I'm so glad my harvests were better than last year.

And I love how your dog gets so excited! LOL!

Pretty good harvest! You did it again EG!! I want to grow sweet potatoes now. The container you are using is a very good idea. You don't have to dig the ground for easy harvest. Well done :)

I watched that vid several times just to watch Jude jump around. LOL What a good garden buddy. Hey, that monster sweet potato could be roasted as the main course for Thanksgiving and served with maybe a side of turkey... wow! ;-D

The kids and I watched this snuggled in bed this morning, they got a kick out of Jude and the long skinny sweet potato. Do your containers slope at all? Weird that one side produces better, just wondering if it could be a water or nutrients thing.

Very nice harvest. I really enjoy your videos and you have inspired me along the way of growing mine. I went out and harvested mine on Monday (after seeing your vidoes). See video on my blog or on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eaC2MuSpSzs. Thanks again. I hope to try succession planting (if possible) or growing them in more buckets. Has yours ever grown down from inside the bucket to the soil in the ground below? Mine did that and I am not sure if it was becasue they were crowded with 6 plants. Just wish I had better luck with my tomatoes like you.

It looks like a nice crop this year. And yes Jude does steal the show.

You had a pretty darned good second harvest with your sweet potatoes. I see sweet potato pies and candied yams in your future.

I didn't know the plants flowered either. Just one of my vines had a flower and a couple buds on it. It looked just like yours.
