Lots of leaves are falling

Here's a video I shot behind the house. I hope you enjoy it!

You should be happy about all those leaves :> Lots of nice compost. My neighbors were bagging up their leaves yesterday so I asked if I could have them. So today I have tons more to shred. I'll have to get to it soon.

Glad to hear you're gonna compost all those leaves. Been collecting mine too. I just shred them and scatter them. I'll top dress in a few weeks with some rotted horse poo.

I hope you found time to run through them. . .

Good for compost!

I second you on the rain. It's been amazing this year. To think, we were just talking about a drought last year.

The man bought himself a "lawn sweeper" last year. It's amazing. You pull it behind the lawn tractor and it sweeps up all of the leaves and he dumps them in the woods. You take that sucker on a couple of tours around the yard and all the leaves are history, but you really have to wait until all the leaves have fallen to make it worth your while. Those oak trees hate to give up the goods. Ours still haven't turned colors.

Wow! That is a lot of leaves for the compost bins. I am starting to look at leaves much differently now. The new shed is looking good. I also love how the greenhouse is coming together.

Those leaves are a familiar sight here, the trees behind use drop half their leaves about a week ago. Tree certainly create a lot of work. Love that shed door.
