Mine would eat the raspberries that grew inside the fence at the house in Alaska but strangely, they only seemed to eat them when I was out picking. They would get so excited when I put on my berry picking clothes (it was usually raining and the no-see-ums and mosquitos were brutal) but they were out in the yard alone all day. Of course, when I'd pick, I'd toss berries over the fence to them...

I've been in a bit of a slump lately, but that just made my day! :)

Hi EG!

That's amazing how Jude can pluck off the ripe berries... and leave the other ones!

I think that you've created a monster!!! LOL!

That is so funny! My dog Buddy eats soft fruit from my garden too. Still, it looks as if you have had a great harvest already with all that jam!

He's beautiful and has such good taste!

Really, he only gets the dog-height ones, right? Just train 'em higher.

This made me laugh -- you're such an enabler : )

That's hilarious! I'm surprised she doesn't have you out there picking them for her. :)

Were the bushes there when you bought your property, or did you plant them?

How funny! I'm surprised she didn't take whole groupings of unripe ones also. That's a talented dog you've got there. Better Jude getting them then the birds, hehe. Thanks for sharing

Those shepherds sure like their fruit. Mine used to raid my garden for my icebox watermelons.
