I'm resting this weekend

Fourteen hour workdays, and only 5 hours of sleep each night will eventually catch up with a person - even me. I need a break. I really, really need a break.....All week long, nothing has been done in the garden, except a quick walk-thru every morning and evening (to make sure nothing bad is happening, of course). No time for pictures, and the video problems right now are just gonna have to remain unresolved until I can find some breathing room. I'll get pictures this weekend, one way or another, though. I'm reading everyone's blogs, but don't have time to comment on most. I'm just not able to do the things that I normally do right now - even reply to the comments left for mine.

Daylilyfanatic - welcome to the blog, and thanks for following!

Next week will be back to normal, thankfully....

Rest up! It's not a crime to kick your feet up and catch some TV. :)

EG, get some rest. We'll still love you if you don't post for a few days. We'll expect a stinkin' long one full of pictures, but we'll still talk to you.

EG, you are the MAN! But even Superman needed a Fortress of SOLITUDE! Rest up and relax, you've earned it. Maybe go fishing if that's relaxing enough for you. Or do as Gumshoe said, see what your wife is watching on TV. Hehe.

Though I hope you do, I can't see you going the weekend without getting out to throw a ball for Jude or just meander in the garden. That's relaxing for me, but I don't have near the pest issues you have.

Lastly, don't feel you need to respond to every comment. I only respond to questions or new folks myself. It works and nobody thinks less of me (that I know of), well except for American Farmer, hehe.

I hope for your sake you get Monday off.

Enjoy the weekend!

Out here NW of Atlanta, it's going to be rain, rain, rain, for the next couple of days, so outdoor work will have to wait for me, too. Looking forward to seeing the video when it finally goes up, but sometimes just sitting back and breathing is the most important activity.

Hope you have a truly relaxing weekend.

I think I've been through Russellville. A few years back, my family stayed across the state line at Tishomingo State Park in Missisippi, but we drove into Alabama to see the local sights.

We visited the Natural Bridge and the Coonhound Cemetary. We also went to the Alabama Music Hall of Fame and the WC Handy Museum. We got lost several times and ended up, one day, on the same road over and over again.

It was a great holiday, and the countryside was beautiful!

Hope that your garden is doing well on this cloudy weekend.

EG - enjoy your rest. I wonder how you do it all sometimes... working full-time, blogging full-time, gardening full-time, 4H, fishing, and all the community service stuff you do.

Hope you recharge the ole' EG batteries and come back feeling better.

How are you doing your videos? If you upload them to YouTube or Photobucket you might have more success... just a suggestion.

Rest up my friend.
