Before getting into my work list, did ya happen to notice the new text in the header, at the top of the page? My good friend Dan, over at http://veggiegardenblog.blogspot.com/ did that for me. I don't know how he did it...But I like it! Thanks Dan!
Another weekend of many outdoor tasks awaits me, but Friday is pretty much shot. I'm off from work, but it's gonna be really stormy, and I've gotta make preparations for the wife's car to be fixed. You see... yesterday the bus driver that brings my stepson home from school, backed up into the car. Yeah....It was a substitute driver. I reckon it will be in the shop for at least a couple of weeks, and there's all kinds of insurance stuff to get taken care of first. Anyway, here's some of the things that I plan on doing....
Friday - probably not much, mainly due to the storms. I do need to put new fishing line on some reels, though. That's something that can be done indoors....
Saturday - Plant the heirloom tomatoes into the earthtainers ( finally! ), do the whole " compost thing ", give the indoor seedlings some sunlight, start the driveway border project, apply insecticide to trees, vines, bushes, garden, etc., work on the mower, spend time with my sisters and their families, take some pictures.
Sunday - Possibly go fishing, but I kinda doubt it. The wind is supposed to be blowing really bad. Maybe cut the grass? It's looking pretty scary out there!
Take care, and happy gardening!

We're getting it here too. They expect tornado watches and dime size hail in areas. I'm sure y'all are in for much of the same. Stay safe and dry.
Oh...it was pretty rowdy here!

Thanks for the link. Sounds like you will have a bit of time to relax this weekend, that should be good. That's a shame about your wife's car, I bet the bus driver is in big trouble.
Oh! The tomatoes are going in? Exciting! 8^D
You mean the bus driver hit the car instead of the mailbox?
Yeah, Jerry...isn't that amazing? Heh.
